01 · Why try it

Confirm your platform connects cleanly before you spend a dollar.

The free plan runs on a dedicated New York test node, completely isolated from our paid subscriber network. Use this free allowance to verify that your desktop terminal handshakes smoothly with our proxy before deploying an edge server in your broker’s financial hub.

Works with any desktop trading platform

Enter four simple connection values into MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView Desktop or Optuma. Your dashboard generates a dedicated proxy password, so your primary website account password never touches your trading terminal.

Stream live broker price updates

Enable the proxy toggle, log in to your trading account and observe your chart feed. As live ticks flow across your screens without interruption, you have solid visual proof that your software routes cleanly.

Monitor real-time session bandwidth

Your client dashboard tracks data consumption live against your 250 MB monthly allocation. You will see exactly how much bandwidth a standard session of active charting consumes across your workspace.

Zero surprise charges when allowance finishes

When your 250 MB allocation runs out, proxy transmission pauses until next month without any automated billing or payment details on file. Simply disable the proxy in your software to trade direct, or upgrade to your broker’s city in one click.

02 · Free and paid

A paid plan connects you through a server in your broker’s city.

The free plan verifies your terminal connection on our New York hardware. A paid subscription connects you directly through an edge server in your broker’s financial city, keeping order packets close to matching engines when markets turn volatile.

Every free account is locked to our separate New York test server. Paid plans run on their own server pools, and larger plans are placed first on premium servers.

You connect to our server near you. Our servers pass your data to our server in your broker’s city, which sends orders straight out so larger transfers do not hold up your next order. Any piece lost near your broker is replaced inside that city.

MetaTrader 4 & 5Solves

Generic or free proxies fail MetaTrader's proxy Test button

“I keep getting the message "Proxy test failed" no matter what proxy settings I try to set.”

How our system handles it. Use SOCKS5 or HTTP, whichever your platform offers. Enter our server, login and password in MetaTrader’s own Proxy window.

  • Built-in SOCKS5 loginPrimary
  • Built-in HTTP proxy loginSupporting

Where it stops. MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 support SOCKS5 and HTTP (not SOCKS4). A passing Test confirms the route reaches our server.

MetaTrader 4 & 5Solves

MetaTrader 5 will not use a proxy running on the same computer

“that proxy setting is working on MT4, so the problem is from MT5 not proxy”

How our system handles it. You don't need a tunnel app on your computer. Your platform connects to our server through its own Proxy setting.

  • Own separate connection to your brokerPrimary
  • Built-in SOCKS5 loginPrimary

Where it stops. Your platform connects through its built-in Proxy window, with no extra app to install. Some MetaTrader 5 builds have separate proxy-window bugs.

MetaTrader 4 & 5Not a proxy problem

MT5's own Proxy box overwrites, empties or refuses to save what you type

“I click on Enable proxy server -> Proxy ... -> Give my server , login . password , sock5 Then when i press test or ok , it doesnt go anywhere at all. The cursor goes back to the server field. I tried the same setting on my local computer , it is working fine.”

Why a proxy does not change this. We change nothing on your computer. The server, login and password go into your platform's own Proxy setting.

  • Only the app you set up is routedBoundary

Where it stops. We change nothing on your computer. If a MetaTrader 5 build fails to save its proxy dialog, we cannot repair the terminal window itself.

Windows VPS & RoutingWhen not to use a proxy

MetaTrader's own proxy setting fails on some builds or setups

“Option "Enable proxy server" enables proxy server support and activates the "Proxy..." button. Server — enter here the IP address and port number of the server separated by a colon. To the right of this field, select the type of proxy server: HTTP, SOCKS4 or SOCKS5. In HTTP mode, NTLM authentication is also supported”

Why a proxy can backfire here. Use SOCKS5 or HTTP, whichever your platform offers.

  • Built-in SOCKS5 loginBoundary
  • Built-in HTTP proxy loginBoundary

Where it stops. Use the platform's own Test button. If it fails, the fault is in the platform's proxy support. Not SOCKS4. IPv4 only.

Windows VPS & RoutingAvoids by design

Remote-desktop session freezes, drops, or shows "connection has been lost"

“UDP-based transport offers better connection reliability and more consistent latency. TCP-based reverse connect transport provides the best compatibility with various networking configurations and has a high success rate for establishing RDP connections.”

How local trading avoids it. Your platform runs on your own computer, so there's no remote-desktop session to freeze or drop.

  • Platform stays on your own computerPrimary

Where it stops. Your platform's connection to our server can still drop. We notice quickly and your platform can reconnect, but we never promise it won't happen.

MetaTrader 4 & 5Solves

A firewall, router or ISP drops the platform's broker connection but lets ordinary web traffic through

“The MT5 trading server mt5.metaquotes.net runs on port 1950. We have closed all the "left" ports at our company, including port 1950.”

How our system handles it. Your platform connects to our server through its built-in SOCKS5 or HTTP proxy setting, and our server opens the broker connection from inside the datacenter.

  • Built-in SOCKS5 loginPrimary
  • Own separate connection to your brokerPrimary
  • Unanswered broker server gives up fast and reportsSupporting

Where it stops. Works only if your network still lets you reach our server. We cannot repair a faulty home router or an ISP outage.

03 · Questions

Common questions about the free plan.

What do I get for free?

You receive one device on our New York test server with 250 MB each month. It works with MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView Desktop, Optuma or any trading software with a proxy configuration. You paste four connection values into your software and begin testing immediately without entering card details.

Is the free plan the same as a paid plan?

No. Free accounts route through a dedicated New York test server engineered purely to test software compatibility. Paid subscribers connect through private server pools situated directly in their broker’s exchange city, ensuring dropped packets recover inside that local financial centre.

What happens at 250 MB?

When your 250 MB monthly allowance finishes, proxy transmission pauses until your next monthly cycle. Your trading software will simply pause proxy traffic. You can switch the proxy setting off in your platform to continue trading directly, or upgrade your account to an uncapped broker-city route.

Can I see how much of the 250 MB I have used?

Your client dashboard tracks bandwidth consumption live as market quotes flow into your charts. We never charge overage fees or bill hidden expenses. Once your allowance finishes, you can toggle the proxy off or upgrade at your convenience.

Is the New York server shared?

Free accounts share our dedicated New York test node, kept entirely separate from paid client hardware. Paid plans run on isolated server infrastructure and never share resources with free plan accounts. If your broker explicitly forbids proxy connections in their terms, do not use one.

Can I move to a paid plan later?

You can upgrade instantly from your client dashboard without changing your credentials or reconfiguring your charts. The system moves your account smoothly from the New York test node to whichever broker financial centre you choose.

Test it yourself, then decide.

Get set up in under 5 minutes with four values and nothing to install. Test your connection today, then upgrade to your broker’s city in one step.
